Recycling Policy

All of the material used in the manufacture of the items advertised on the Chucklebunnies website is recycled. It could come from various sources such as second hand clothing or bedding, second hand curtains etc, off cuts or remnants from dressmaking. All material is washed.

Any material I believe is unfit for purpose is not used. This includes items such as t-shirts with plasticised logos, plasticised material from raincoats, fake fur fabric and so on. Where possible, existing seams are avoided and whole cloth is used for the items.

Straps for carrying may include cotton binding in them and thread has not been recycled. The stiffeners in the tunnels are made from plastic - the strong plastic used in strimmers in fact - to avoid any metal parts as these could be dangerous to owners or animals. No buttons, buckles or zips are included for the same reason. The label is not recycled and is included to show that I have hand made the item.
